BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

Hotel & commercial charging questions.

Can guests charge a non-Tesla EV?

Universal Wall Connector has a NACS connector and an integrated J1772 adapter. Confirm the vehicles you expect to serve and their AC charging requirements during planning.

How many chargers will our property need?

Start with parking demand, how long drivers stay, available electrical capacity and future needs. AMR can assess those details before an equipment quantity is chosen.

Can our hotel offer paid charging?

Tesla currently limits its pay-per-use Wall Connector program in California to qualifying private sites. It classifies customer and visitor charging as public. Confirm your operating model with AMR and Tesla before planning around charging revenue. Read Tesla’s current program requirements.

What affects the installation cost?

Charger quantity, available electrical capacity, distance from the panel, mounting, trenching and permitting affect the scope. Request a property-specific proposal; equipment, installation, electricity and ongoing operation are separate costs.

Will our property appear on Tesla's charging map?

Public listing depends on Tesla approval and its requirements, including reliable connectivity and commissioning by a Tesla Certified Installer. A listing is not automatic.

Is this Supercharger fast charging?

This page covers Level 2 Wall Connector charging for longer parking stays. Supercharger projects use different equipment and require a separate scope.
